The location of a server decides how far every request has to travel. When most of your users connect from Russia or neighbouring countries, a server in Moscow removes long international hops and cuts the round-trip time on every page view, API call and remote desktop frame. Moscow is one of the main interconnection points of the region, which makes it a sensible home for services aimed at Eastern Europe and Northern Asia as well as at Russia itself.
Latency is not only about raw speed. Lower round-trip times make interactive work feel smoother, help e-commerce checkouts complete without delays and keep database replication between nearby sites stable. A local server also gives your service a Russian IP address, which matters for users and services that expect content to come from inside the country.
Servers Russia focuses on this one market. Our VPS and dedicated servers run in a Tier III datacenter in Moscow, while our shared web and WordPress hosting is served from the Netherlands for customers who simply need a reliable control panel account in Europe.
Every virtual server and dedicated server we sell in Russia is hosted in a Tier III facility in Moscow. The Tier III designation describes a datacenter built for concurrent maintainability: power and cooling paths are designed with redundancy so that components can be serviced without switching off the equipment they support. For you, that means your server lives in an environment engineered for continuous operation rather than in an office rack.
Inside the facility, our VPS hosts use ECC memory, which detects and corrects single-bit memory errors before they can corrupt data, and RAID 10 storage arrays, which combine mirroring and striping so that a single failed disk does not take your data with it. Dedicated servers are built on Intel Xeon processors, the server-class CPU family designed for long, heavy workloads.
VPS plans connect through a 1 Gbps port with unlimited bandwidth. Linux dedicated servers have a 1 Gbps port with unmetered traffic, and Windows dedicated servers come with a monthly transfer allowance that depends on the plan you choose.
A virtual private server gives you your own operating system, resources and IP address on shared physical hardware. We use KVM virtualization, which runs each VPS as a fully isolated virtual machine with its own kernel. That isolation lets you install any supported Linux distribution or Windows, load kernel modules, run Docker and configure the firewall exactly as you would on physical hardware.
The VPS range is split into two families. Linux VPS plans, eight in total, run on NVMe storage in RAID 10 and cost from $24 to $245 per month. The entry plan gives you two vCores, 2 GB of ECC RAM and 30 GB of NVMe space; stepping up to $35 per month doubles the memory to 4 GB with 50 GB of storage, and a $59 plan offers four vCores and 6 GB. Windows VPS plans, seven in total, run on HDD RAID 10 and range from $49 to $245 per month.
Linux servers are managed with root access over SSH, while Windows servers are managed through Remote Desktop. You can read the full breakdown on our Russia VPS hosting page.
When a project outgrows a virtual server, a dedicated server gives it an entire physical machine with no other tenants. Our Moscow dedicated servers use Intel Xeon processors in single and dual-socket configurations, with SSD or HDD storage chosen at order time. Billing is monthly with no annual contract, so you can scale up or move on without being locked in.
There are six Linux dedicated plans from $89 to $379 per month and six Windows dedicated plans from $145 to $299 per month. As examples, the $89 Linux server pairs two Xeon E5620 processors for eight cores with 16 GB of RAM; the $109 plan uses a Xeon E5-2630L v2 with six cores and 16 GB; and the $139 plan offers two Xeon X5675 processors, twelve cores and 32 GB. Each of those comes with a choice of a 480 GB SSD or a 1 TB HDD and a 1 Gbps unmetered port.
Linux servers are delivered with root access and Windows servers with Administrator access. See the dedicated servers in Russia page for workload sizing advice.
Some users do not want to administer a whole server; they want a Windows desktop in Moscow that they can open from anywhere. Our RDP plans provide exactly that. Each one runs on enterprise virtualisation with NVMe storage between 50 and 400 GB, between 4 and 32 GB of RAM, unlimited bandwidth and one dedicated Russian IPv4 address.
You can choose Windows 10, Windows 11 or Windows Server 2016, 2019 or 2022. Nine RDP plans are available, priced from $39.95 to $298.95 per month, and activation takes hours, with a maximum of 12. RDP plans are ordered through serverslot.com, the platform that provisions and supports our services.
A Russian RDP is useful for testing how websites and apps behave for local visitors, for running Windows-only trading or accounting software close to Moscow-based services, and for giving remote staff a consistent desktop. Details are on the Russia RDP page.
Not every website needs a server of its own. For brochure sites, small business pages and personal projects, our web hosting plans offer a managed control panel account with free SSL. These plans are served from a datacenter in the Netherlands, not from Moscow, which gives you a well-connected Western European location while keeping account management, billing and support in one place with your other services.
You can choose cPanel on Linux, which suits PHP and MySQL applications, or Plesk on Windows, which supports ASP.NET applications and MSSQL databases. There are four plans billed yearly, from $29 to $99 per year. The Basic plan includes 1 GB of web space, 25 GB of bandwidth, 10 email accounts and 5 sub-domains; Economy raises that to 5 GB, 60 GB of bandwidth and 75 mailboxes at $49 per year; and Professional at $59 per year offers 10 GB, 100 GB of bandwidth, 100 mailboxes and unlimited sub-domains.
Compare the plans on our web hosting page.
Our WordPress hosting is cPanel hosting on Linux with one script installed for you before you log in. You can choose WordPress for a blog or company site, OpenCart for an online shop, or PrestaShop for a larger catalogue. The installation is done for you, so you can start adding content and products immediately instead of creating databases and uploading files by hand.
Four plans are billed yearly from $35 to $109 per year. WP-I includes 1 GB of space, 25 GB of bandwidth and 10 email accounts for $35; WP-II provides 5 GB, 60 GB and 75 mailboxes for $45; and WP-III offers 10 GB, 100 GB and 100 mailboxes for $69. Like our web hosting, these plans run in the Netherlands datacenter.

A domain is the address customers type, and the right extension tells them who you serve. A .ru domain signals a site aimed at Russian-speaking visitors, while .com, .net and other generic extensions work for international audiences. Our domain price table is organised into Popular, Russian, International and New gTLD tabs, with prices per year for registration, renewal and transfer.
For example, .com is listed at $9.95 for the first year, $12.95 to renew and $11.95 to transfer; .net at $12.00, $16.00 and $13.00; and .biz at $11.98, $17.98 and $15.98. Whois privacy is listed as free for these extensions. Prices for Russian extensions are confirmed at checkout.
Once registered, you can point a domain at a Moscow VPS, a dedicated server or a hosting account in the Netherlands by editing its DNS records. Visit the .ru domain registration page to search for a name.
The right service depends on what you are running and how much control you need:
Many customers combine services: a dedicated database server and a VPS front end in Moscow, for example, or a Netherlands hosting account for a marketing site alongside a Moscow VPS for the application itself.
